How to use a proxy in Chrome?

Click the Chrome menu on the  browser toolbar. Select Settings.





Scroll down. Click "Show advanced settings".





In the "Network" section, click Change proxy  settings .





This will open the Internet Properties dialog  (Windows) or the Network dialog (Mac).

Click "LAN settings".



In Proxy server box, click "Use a proxy  server for your LAN".

Type the IP on address field.

Type the Port number on port field. (You can also use other ports like 80, 3128, 52931)



Click Advanced.

Click "Use the same proxy server  for all protocols".


Click Ok. 

Next, open a browser to ip-check.net to verify that the IP displayed is the proxy's IP address. 


If so, you have successfully proxied your internet connection.
